Renita D. Alexander is a retired United States Air Force Colonel, accomplished author, executive coach, entrepreneur, and the founder of Leadership Unlocked. Known as the Leadership Locksmith, Renita helps individuals and organizations identify the internal and external locks limiting their effectiveness and discover the keys that allow them to lead with authenticity, confidence, agility, and purpose.
Throughout more than 26 years of military service, Renita developed leaders, navigated high-pressure environments, built effective teams, and learned firsthand what it means to lead with both courage and compassion. Candace’s leadership journey is deeply personal.
Growing up in an under-resourced community on the West Side of Chicago, she benefited from personal and professional development programs that helped change the trajectory of her life. Those pivotal investments inspired her to become a guide, catalyst, and developmental resource for others.
One opportunity to develop and facilitate leadership workshops helped confirm something powerful: she was not only capable of developing leaders, she came alive while doing it.
That revelation ultimately contributed to the creation of Pivotal Impact.
